The Irrigation Agriculture and Crops Development Division is a Division under Federal Department of Agriculture in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development saddled with responsibility of ensuring crops optimal growth under a particular environment to maximize yield, quality and quantity of farmers’ annual produce of high value crops. Micro Irrigation Agriculture is the provision of required water for crop production on and off season.
The Division also engages in the sensitization of Farmers in the knowledge and use of farm implements/machines that ensures crop optimal growth which in turn leads to economic improvement and sustainability through agriculture.
